AD1989B HD-Audio Codec, 10 DACs/6 ADCs
The AD1989B is a high performance codec containing ten 101dB DACs and six 92dB ADCs, three stereo headphone ports, C/LFE swapping, digital and analog PCBeep, and two independent S/PDIF outputs and one S/PDIF input. The jack retasking feature on the codec supports various multi-channel configurations including platforms for 7.1 on 5-jack, 5.1 on 3-jack configurations and front panel jack retasking. The AD1989B provides superior HD-audio sound quality that exceeds Windows® Vista Premium performance requirements making it the right choice for PCs where performance and a rich feature set are primary considerations.
