At Conexant, we are proud of our accomplishments. We have shipped hundreds of millions of modem chipsets for use in desktop computers, notebook PCs, PDAs, video game consoles and many other personal computing applications. Our technology connects people to the Internet.
But with our success comes some confusion as well. We receive calls and e-mail from users who believe that we build and sell consumer modems. Please note that we do not manufacture consumer modems.
Conexant designs the chipsets for the technology, which are in turn custom-designed for every manufacturer we do business with. As such, we suggest that if you have an issue with your modem, please contact your manufacturer for information regarding drivers, installations, repairs and upgrades.
